Credo National Festival

Credo is a unique organization blending faith and music, with an extraordinary faculty mentoring and modeling both for young musicians. Its visionary founder, Peter Slowik, originally brought me on board to conduct Credo’s 25th anniversary celebration in a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 at Orchestra Hall in Chicago this summer.

While I am looking forward immensely to this celebratory week of working within the lens of Credo’s motto (“Develop, Acknowledge, Respond”), I have the even greater joy of announcing that I will continue this work for at least another three years as Director of Credo’s National Festival. This is a uniquely meaningful opportunity where I can draw on every facet of my professional life — as conductor, violinist, and teacher — and also fulfill my personal callings to service and ministry.
