Tribute to the Class of 2020

Graduations are one of our most cherished milestones, where our hearts swell with pride and our eyes fill with tears at our children’s accomplishments. For many of the 2020 graduates — from high school and college seniors to those receiving advanced degrees, and even elementary school children moving on to middle school — these ceremonies and rites of passage are taking place in the virtual realm due to the Covid-19 crisis. The Montclair Orchestra salutes the Class of 2020 with the following video of Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” March No. 1, which contains the famous tune so closely associated with graduations in America.
